Ride a Pony by Red Bull – a spectacle of sports and fun!

Ride a Pony by Redbull is less competitive and a more social and fun ascent on Pony bikes that brings together numerous participants, host and organizers – enthusiasts for fun, as well as the Pony bike representing a style icon, a symbol of true values and an enticing lifestyle… This thrillingly amusing and exciting ride is attended by numerous contestants (more than 1.000) of all generations, with all models of Pony, while retro look is implied dress code.

The sixth event took place this year. It was a little different than the others, as the number of participants was limited to 500. Nevertheless, the fun was endless.

As always, the goal was to reach the highest mountain pass in Slovenia – Vršič, at 1.611 meters above sea level. Along the way, the competitors overcame the exceptionally demanding 800 m of altitude difference, while an excellent time and fun was understood expected!

Year 2020 was also special because of the new time record. The first place among men was taken by Luka Kovačič. It took him 39 minutes and 39 seconds from the start in Kranjska Gora to the top, while Laura Šimenc also set new time record among women and reached the finish line in 45 minutes and 48 seconds.

The Rog bikes factory team was also present at the event and achieved enviable results. Our Aleš reached the top as the 40th, and Urban reached the 46th place. We are also proud of the results achieved by Dejan and Jošt.
